Near the Bridge over the Trent River in Nottingham, England, Hank and Kathy Evans operate their SapArt Studio and Gallery. They individually hand sculpt and glaze a variety of small animal figurines...whimsical, endearing, fantastical...you try your hand at describing them! If you love animals and finely crafted hand made pieces, you will love these. And each is unique!

As the Evans describe their work: "All of our pieces are individually hand made. We use no molds for any of them. We use a range of stoneware, earthware, terracotta clays, and mix our own glazes to create our unique style. Due to this our pieces are never "Standard" - there may be variations in colors and poses."

Since each piece is unique, we are trying something new! We have imported a nice selection, which we will display a few at a time in small groups. You will receive the exact piece you select, and we will ship it right away. As pieces are purchased, we will replace their pictures with others we have on hand. Personally, it is hard to select one; it would be easier to say "I want them all!"
