Jason embroiders birch bark medallions with porcupine quill in the style of traditional birch bark baskets of Maine and the woodlands. He finishes the necklaces with porcupine quill and glass seed bead dangles and attaches a double beaded chain on soft elk hide ties. The medallion and chain of the Turtle, which represents North America, is accented with mother of pearl and blue glass seed beads. The Snowflake medallion and chain are accented with antique amber, red crystal and orange glass seed beads.
