Desert Sands Necklace

This necklace represents the many colors and shades found in the Sonoran Desert sands. Being Tohono O'odham, I spent a lot of time admiring my natural surroundings. I try to bring these patterns, shades, and ideas into my creations. This necklace is designed in a more traditional fashion than the Coral Sunset, and is a slightly heavier adornment. It is made of solid brass beads, bone hairpipe beads, round bone beads, and assorted shades of amber glass pony beads. The pendant is solid brass and abalone. It is approximately 22 inches in length, and the pendant is 1 inch long. It weighs about 2 ounces.
